— orlesian born, noble family, eldest child of four. maintains good relationship with her parents and indeed her entire family despite never taking any interest in the game, never having the slightest musical talent for being a bard, but having at the very least a talent for stabbing things. writes them often. has not lived in orlais for over ten years; parents found a ~reputable~ assassin that was willing to take her on as an apprentice of sorts. learned most of the trade of killing folks in and around kirkwall between the ages of 15-19, when her tutor was killed by a vengeful rival. jumped ship and went to ferelden. — established herself as a cheap and fast working assassin in ferelden. made little money, lived in meagre circumstances, kept a reasonably cheerful outlook. a mixture of fortune and murdering talent allowed her to gather together a small band of similarly talented individuals that allowed for expansion and further acquisition of capital. with her collection of assassins, camille (by this point known predominantly as "beau") set up shop in denerim and spent the next six years killing plenty of people whilst also preferring to keep herself and her company just outside of being notorious. believed and still believes that you can pay a terrible price for fame. — eventually ousted by fellow assassins who did not believe in her philosophy about fame. nearly died, but just about made it through. has the scars to prove it (and who doesn't have scars, these days?). disavowed working with anyone but herself from that point on, went back to a life of being entirely unknown and scraping together a blood stained living, which was fine. — until her former company of killers decided to actively go about destroying her reputation. has joined the inquisition because she damn well needs something to do and a bed to sleep in, thanks. is somewhat unconvinced by the whole matter of teamwork between everyone and finds it all rather quaint and cute, but is r...easonably loyal. she keeps her ears open all the time, mind. any information is valuable information. |
